A recent project in Holborn where we have created circa 400no penetration's through the structural beams for future exposed services.
These works involved temporary propping, concrete cutting and controlled demolition removal of the encasement, plasma cutting and welding of stiffener plates and then final making good. We followed a strict sequence of works to complete these as not to weaken the building whilst works progressed. Circa 90 tonnes of steel plate used on this and over 2000 metres worth of welding!!
